Transcription: Deserts can be very hot during the day and the Sonoran Desert is no exception. So one of the best times to see desert life, particularly during the summer, is after dark. One of the best places to see it is on the desert roads, each of which is a kind of transect across the desert. All kinds of things come out at night to sit on warm roads or cross them on their foraging expeditions.
